Privacy Policy

OtterReel is operated by Webgophers, Inc. ("we", "us"). It makes listing videos for real estate agents. This policy explains what information we collect when you use OtterReel, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@webgophers.com.
Information we collect
- Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture
and Google account ID (the
openid,emailandprofilepermissions). We do not ask for, and cannot see, your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google data. - Your agent details. What you type on the My details page, such as your name, phone numbers, contact card images, about-me text and hashtags, so we can put them on your videos and captions.
- Listings you add. Addresses, listing facts, the listing link you paste, and the photos you upload or that we copy from that listing page.
- What we make for you. Videos, staged photos, descriptions and captions, and the edits you make to them.
- Basic technical records. Server logs (time, page requested, IP address, browser type) used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- Your Google account information is used only to sign you in, check that you are on your team's access list, and show your name in the app.
- Your agent details and listing information are used only to make, store and deliver your videos and related materials.
- We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles about you.
Google user data
OtterReel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to others except as needed to run OtterReel, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or sale with notice to you. We do not use Google user data to train AI models, and no person reads it except to provide support you ask for, for security, or as the law requires.
Service providers
We use a small number of companies to run OtterReel. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us:
- Railway: hosting, database and file storage.
- Google: sign-in.
- Anthropic (Claude): reading listing photos and facts to pick shots, write descriptions and check staged photos.
- Higgsfield, fal and Replicate: turning listing photos into short motion clips and virtually staging empty rooms.
Listing photos and listing facts are sent to these AI providers. Your Google account information is not.
Cookies
We use one sign-in cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and listings while your team uses OtterReel. Older video versions are deleted automatically after 30 days (the newest few are kept), and failed or turned-down staging attempts after 14 days. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete your account information and your listings within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something.
Your choices
- Email support@webgophers.com to see, correct, download or delete your information.
- You can remove OtterReel's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, files are stored in private storage and shared only through short-lived links, and only people on your team's access list can sign in.
Children
OtterReel is a work tool for adults and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
